I am a licensed Engineer and Geologist in Louisiana serving as Project Manager and Business Development Manager for Fugro in Louisiana. 

I serve on the board of directors for the Baton Rouge Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the American Shore and Beach Preservation Association's (ASBPA) Central Gulf Coast Chapter, and the Executive committee of Louisiana's Coast Builders Coalition. In March of 2021, I will be co-Chairing the ASBPA Coastal Summit held each year in Washington, DC, and I'm serving on the Planning Committee for the 2022 ASCE Coasts Oceans Ports and Rivers Institute (COPRI) Ports conference to be held in Honolulu October 2022.

Through these organizations, I work to provide industry advocacy to Louisiana and the Gulf Coast.

Stephen Hanemann is a partner in Kean Miller’s New Orleans office. His practice focuses on a wide array of transportation-related subject matters, including admiralty and maritime contracts and disputes involving cargo shipped by vessel, marine-asset, truck and rail; project and asset finance; international trade, import, export, and custom-regulation compliance; municipal law and construction.

Seasoned Economic Disaster Resilience/Recovery Professional.  Founded and manage a UN-affiliated non-profit, International Sustainable Resilience Center, Inc., dedicated to Public-Private Partnerships for disaster resilience and recovery, worldwide.  Have worked in 47 states plus 4 continents, and believe that trade and resilience are interconnected. 

Wendi Couvillion French has a  rich toolbox of analytical skills to develop operational dashboards tied to spatial logistics for strategic growth and critical event problem solving. Wendi is a graduate of Louisiana State University and is an MBA student at Tulane.  She served as the first Enterprise GIS manager for the City/Parish of East Baton Rouge for Hurricanes Gustav to Ike.  Wendi worked with PPG for the New York Harbor clean up in the early 90s. She provided services to the Port of Fourchon during Hurricane Katrina and currently provides services to the Port of New Orleans. 

Economic Development Division of the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana.  We are a Federally Recognized Tribe that is both Native American 8a and Hub Zone Certified. My division is tasked with diversifying the Tribes holdings by creating and acquiring businesses as well as working on JV ventures. Although based in Central Louisiana, we operate across the United States and Internationally. 

Currently, a Relationship Liaison with GlobeNet a successful Cyber Security and Technology Managed Service Provider based in New Orleans, servicing customers in the region and nationally. Prior to that, I held a Directors position as Technology Solution Consultant at Benecom Computer Company, providing technical solutions to the City of New Orleans, BREC, (the Recreation and Park Commission of East Baton Rouge Parish), and other high profile clients in the region. Past President and founder of Automated Computer Systems, Inc. a local computer company where I managed a team that provided software design and other technology solutions. The Co-founder and past event coordinator of the SSA Networking group, a group designed to engender a leading-edge alliance in providing optimum solutions from a single source of professionals.

Innovative Security Operations and Management professional with extensive global experience executing security planning, training, and operations to minimize exposure to liability while protecting valuable personnel, equipment, resources, and facilities. Military veteran with secret security clearance well adept at governmental contracting, force protection, facility security planning, emergency response, and operations management. Proven track record developing and launching security programs focused on contract development and risk mitigation under dynamic and challenging environments. Skilled in communicating concepts supporting mission objectives, strategic plans, protocol, and contingency operations. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to lead, mentor, and evaluate staff while sustaining high-quality relationships with clients, corporate, and other stakeholders. Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Salesforce, Omniplan3, and iAuditor.
