RECENT UPDATE (6/4/21): This Energy Committee Meeting will be our first in-person meeting since the onslaught of the corona virus. It is also special because it will take place in a new venue for us, Conference Room A at Kean Miller (located at 909 Poydras Street, Suite #3600) at 11:00 AM on June 17. Our World Trade Center Chairman, Stephen Hanemann, works there and was able to arrange this as a more commodious location.We will have a computer setup for virtual attendees. There will also be light refreshments like chips/pretzels and water/soda.
In terms of subject matter (final agenda will be sent out closer to the meeting date):
- We plan on having Eric Smith and David Dismukes (Chair and Co-Chair, Energy Committee, World Trade Center) present their intermediate term outlook for economic activity in Louisiana in both the upstream and downstream energy sectors. As Sergio Leone would say, “The God, the Bad and the Ugly”.
- In addition, both Stephen Hanemann (Chairman, World Trade Center) and Ed Webb (CEO,World Trade Center) will also weigh in with topical announcements of WTCNO activities.
So “Save the Date”, make every effort to attend in person, but if that isn’t possible, then we will look forward to you joining us via the zoom option (see details below).
