DESCRIPTION:The WTCA is partnering with the Beijing International Trade in Services Center to co-host the "Introduction Roadshow to North America" the North American leg of the global roadshow "2022 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS)" \n\n\n\n \n\nThe roadshow will feature opening remarks by Robin van Puyenbroeck\, Executive Director-Business Development of the WTCA\; and a keynote speech on U.S.-China trade services by Craig Allen\, President of the U.S.-China Business Council (USCBC)\; an introduction/promotion of this year's CIFTIS which is tentatively scheduled in early September 2022 in Beijing\, China by the organizer (including the cloud-based virtual exhibition platform that will be used to facilitate the participation of U.S. service SMEs)\; and sharing of trade services development from institutions in both the U.S. and China. Highlights will also include: \n\n\n "U.S. Trade Services Showcase: Philadelphia Airport" with Kate Sullivan\, Deputy Director of Strategic Partnerships\, Philadelphia International Airport and Ron Drozd\, Director of Export Programs and Services\, World Trade Center Greater Philadelphia\n\n "Panel Discussion: Chinese Service Market Opportunities and Challenges" moderated by Scott Wang\, Vice President\, Asia Pacific of the WTCA with executives of several U.S. entities from various service industries such as IT\, healthcare and consulting on opportunities and challenges in the Chinese service market and the benefits for U.S. companies to participate in CIFTIS\n \n\n\nHosted by China's Ministry of Commerce and Beijing Municipal Government\, CIFTIS is one of the top international trade fairs in China and a great platform to access the vast Chinese service market a sector in which U.S. companies have been very competitive in China over the past few decades.
